CALLER: Hi. I was wondering if you guys do abortions there.

CLINIC: No, we don’t.

CALLER: Do you know of anyplace that does?

CLINIC: Red River Clinic in Fargo.

CALLER: Okay. Well, do you have that phone number?

CLINIC: Yeah, just a minute.

CLINIC: Is this a local call?

CALLER: Yeah.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: My friend told me that since I’ll be 14 in March that my parents have to sign some stuff. But my boyfriend’s 22. Could he just take care of that?

CLINIC: No. You have to do your own stuff. But I don’t think your parents have to sign anything. But you’ll have to go to — or they’ll get a court order for you.

CALLER: Well, what —

CLINIC: That’s all confidential. Just call them. They’ll tell you what has to happen.

CALLER: Well, do you know how much it cost to get a court order?

CLINIC: (Sigh) Just call them and they know. We don’t do anything of that. They know, so ask them.

CALLER: Okay.
