CLINIC: Hello. Shelton Planned Parenthood.

CALLER: Hi. Yeah. I was calling to see if you guys do abortions there?

CLINIC: No, we do not.

CALLER: Oh. Well, do you know of anybody that does?

CLINIC: We can refer you to Olympia or if you want to check in the phone directory.

CALLER: Okay. Well, do you have the number for the one in Olympia?

CLINIC: No. Here, there two different places is Sound Choice or Eastside Women’s Health.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Um-hum.

CALLER: All right. Well, do you know — I’m just worried because like I’m going to be 14 like later on this month, and my friend told me that you guys would have to tell my parents. But my boyfriend’s 22. Could he just sign whatever it is and they wouldn’t have to tell anybody?

CLINIC: What do you mean? To do termination?

CALLER: Uh-huh.

CLINIC: You need to call them and I don’t know (unclear) but you need to talk to them.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: Well, could I come in there for a pregnancy test just to see if I was pregnant?

CLINIC: Over here?

CALLER: Uh-huh.

CLINIC: Yes. Uh-huh.

CALLER: But my boyfriend would have to bring me. Would that be all right if he was there with me?

CLINIC: It won’t be any problem.

CALLER: Oh. But would you have to tell anybody that I was getting a pregnancy test though?

CLINIC: You mean we?

CALLER: Right.

CLINIC: No. We cannot. We don’t. It’s up to you.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: Well, if it turned out that I wasn’t pregnant, could I get birth control?

CLINIC: Yes.

CALLER: Okay. But would you have to tell anybody if I was on birth control though?

CLINIC: No. We don’t do those kind of things. Unless you wanted to talk to somebody and let us know you want some help, but that’s it.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: (unclear) confidentiality. So no, we don’t.

CALLER: Well, if I had any other questions, could I call and talk to you? What was your name?

CLINIC: If I give you what?

CALLER: If I had any other questions? Could I talk to you? What was your name?

CLINIC: Actually you can talk to any of us here.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: We do the same thing, and we will say the same thing.

CALLER: Okay. It’s just, you’re just so nice, so I would just rather talk to you actually. So —

CLINIC: It’s not necessary. But if you want to come back here to come here it’s in Shelter and please come after 1:00.

CALLER: After 1:00?

CLINIC: Um-hum.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: All right. Thank you.
