CLINIC: Planned Parenthood. Gerry speaking.

CALLER: Hi. Yeah. I was wondering if you guys do abortions there.

CLINIC: No. We do not.

CALLER: Do you know of any place that would?

CLINIC: What we can do if you come in we have some information we can hand you. And we do a consult with you, you know, kind of making sure that that’s what you really want to do, and — but we’re, they are doing construction on our building, and we’re getting ready to close today.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: If you could come in tomorrow morning?

CALLER: Well, it’s just — well, my friend said that you guys have to tell my parents and have them sign some stuff. Is it okay if my boyfriend does it because he’s 22?

CLINIC: Well, we’re not going to do the abortion here, hon. We’re — all I can do — all you can do here and you can come in by yourself is to come in and talk to someone.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: And we’ll be in here tomorrow in order to do that.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: Well, is there like an age limit for that? Like I’ll 14 in march.

CLINIC: Uh-huh.

CALLER: What do you mean? Like is it all right to come in there?

CLINIC: It’s okay to come in by yourself, yes.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: And it’s totally anonymous. Your parents do not have to know that you’ve come in and gotten information.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: All right?

CALLER: Well, so like I could come in there and get a pregnancy test just to make sure?

CLINIC: Yes.

CALLER: Okay, and you guys wouldn’t have to tell anybody about it at all?

CLINIC: No.

CALLER: Is it all right like if my boyfriend brings me?

CLINIC: Yes.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: We’ll be open tomorrow.

CALLER: Okay. If it turned out that I wasn’t pregnant, do you guys have birth control there?

CLINIC: Yes. We can set you up with an appointment for that.

CALLER: And you wouldn’t have to tell anybody that I was on birth control?

CLINIC: No.

CALLER: Okay. Would you guys have to know anything about my boyfriend at all if he brings me?

CLINIC: No.

CALLER: Okay. All right. So just come in and like get a pregnancy test and go from there?

CLINIC: Right. Right.

CALLER: And I can come in tomorrow for that?

CLINIC: Yes.
