CALLER: Hi. I was wondering if you guys do abortions there.

CLINIC: No. You have to go to the cities.

CALLER: Oh, okay. Well, do you have a number for any of them?

CLINIC: Yes, I do. Let me see here. You’ve got a pen and paper?

CALLER: Yeah.

CLINIC: 877-890-6225.

CALLER: Is it all right if I ask you a couple of questions?

CLINIC: Sure.

CALLER: My friend told me — I’ll be 14 in March, and she said that you guys have to tell my parents. But is there any way — my boyfriend’s 22. Could he just take care of that?

CLINIC: Actually, there’s ways around that. Call the Cities. I don’t know the details of it. Call that number — and that is a toll free number — and they will answer any questions you have.

CALLER: Okay. Could I come in to where you’re at and get a pregnancy test though?

CLINIC: The first day of your last period — can I put you on hold for a minute?

CALLER: Yeah.

CALLER: I think it was around December 14th.

CLINIC: Have you taken one at home?

CALLER: No.

CLINIC: Yeah. You can come in anytime and we can do a test for you.

CALLER: Well, would you have to tell anybody about that?

CLINIC: Nope.

CALLER: Okay. Is it all right if my boyfriend brings me? Because I don’t know any other way to —

CLINIC: That’s fine.

CALLER: Oh, okay. If it ended up that I wasn’t pregnant, do you guys do birth control there?

CLINIC: Absolutely.

CALLER: Okay. And you wouldn’t have to tell anybody that I was on birth control?

CLINIC: Nope.

CALLER: Okay. I guess I’ll —

CLINIC: Do you want to come in for an appointment on Thursday?

CALLER: Well, I’d have to call my boyfriend to see. But what time is it that you guys normally do that?

CLINIC: Let me pull up that schedule so you can at least take a couple of days and times down, so you can check with him and his schedule.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: On Thursday the 21st we would have time from 9 until 2:00. And then next week we would have Monday. Monday we have times from 9 until 3:30. And next Tuesday, 9 until 5:30. And those are every half an hour.

So go ahead and just call him and see what — you can talk to him in a couple days and see what his schedule looks like, then you can just get back to us.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: He doesn’t want anyone asking a whole bunch of questions. You guys wouldn’t do that, would you?

CLINIC: Like about what?

CALLER: Well, I don’t know. He’s just worried about my parents finding out and getting in trouble.

CLINIC: No. That’s not an issue.

CALLER: So you’re sure that nobody would find out anything?

CLINIC: Yep, that’s right.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay.

CALLER: Okay. Thanks.

CLINIC: You’re welcome.

CALLER: Bye.

CLINIC: Bye bye.
