CALLER: Yeah. Hi. I was wondering if you guys do abortions there.

CLINIC: No, we don’t.

CALLER: Okay. Well, do you know of anybody that does?

CLINIC: Let’s see. Where are you calling from?

CALLER: I’m in Glenwood.

CLINIC: Okay. I can give you several phone numbers that you can call.

CALLER: Okay.

CALLER: Yeah.

CLINIC: There’s one in Minneapolis and Fargo.

CALLER: Okay. Well, I’ll just call this one place. My friend told me that — I’ll be 14 in March, and she said that my parents would have to sign some things. But my boyfriend is 22. Could he sign whatever it is?

CLINIC: I think you’d have to talk to them about it.

CALLER: Oh, okay. Well, could I come in there for a pregnancy test then?

CLINIC: Have you ever been here before?

CALLER: No.

CLINIC: There is some paperwork to fill out, but yes, you could.

CALLER: Does my boyfriend have to fill out anything at all?

CLINIC: No.

CALLER: No?

CLINIC: Just you.

CALLER: But you guys wouldn’t have to tell my parents or you wouldn’t have to tell anybody that I was there getting a pregnancy test?

CLINIC: No.

CALLER: Oh, okay.

CLINIC: If you have time tomorrow, we could do it tomorrow.

CALLER: Well, I’d have to call my boyfriend to see, but I don’t know.

CLINIC: Are you late for a period?

CALLER: Yeah. Well, my last period was like the second week in December.

CLINIC: And you’re not using birth control?

CALLER: No. But if the pregnancy test was negative, do you guys have birth control there?

CLINIC: That you need an appointment for. You’d have to have a birth control appointment.

CALLER: Would you have to tell anybody that I was on birth control?

CLINIC: No.

CALLER: All right. Okay. So I’ll call my boyfriend and see what he says. Is that all right?

CLINIC: Sure.

CALLER: All right.

CLINIC: Okay.
