CLINIC: Actually, no we don’t. We refer people to a couple different places. I can give you some numbers if you want.

CALLER: I live in Manchester.

CLINIC: Manchester?

CALLER: Yeah.

CLINIC: Where is that?

CALLER: It’s in the — well, it’s by the — I don’t know really know actually. We just moved here, so.

CLINIC: Okay.

CALLER: I can’t tell you exactly where.

CLINIC: Okay. Do you know — I mean, you called Clinton Township. Do you know where Clinton Township is?

CALLER: Yeah. My boyfriend told me to call you guys, so.

CLINIC: Let’s see if I have a place in Clinton Township. There’s a place called Northland Family Planning.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Their number is 586-263-7880.

CALLER: All right. Well, do you know if they have to tell my parents or anything about having an abortion?

CLINIC: No, they don’t. Nobody does.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: Because like if they found out, my parents would freak.

CLINIC: Well, nobody is going to tell. (giggles)

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: It’s just — yeah. Well, like do you know if yo have to be a specific age for that?

CLINIC: No.

CALLER: Because like I’ll be 14 in March, so.

CLINIC: Okay. No. You’d have to talk to them about that.

CALLER: Oh.

CLINIC: Because well don’t do that here, so I don’t believe so.

CALLER: Oh, okay. Well, do you guys do birth control there?

CLINIC: We dispense birth control pills, yeah.

CALLER: Oh. And it’s — you guys wouldn’t have to tell anybody about my —

CLINIC: No.

CALLER: Okay. Well, is it all right, like if my boyfriend brings me — because 22. He’s old enough to drive.

CLINIC: There’s not an age limit to get birth control pills. You can come in here and get them.

CALLER: Can you guys do like the pregnancy test there?

CLINIC: We can do a urine pregnancy test, yes, the same pregnancy test you’d take at the store, or that you’d buy at the store and take.

CALLER: Well, I did do one of those.

CLINIC: You did?

CALLER: Yeah.

CLINIC: Okay. It would be the same thing that you’d take here.

CALLER: Oh.

CLINIC: If you’re interested in having a termination, what you’re going to want to do is call those people that I gave you the number for, go there. They’ll give you another pregnancy test and do an ultrasound.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: And you don’t think that they would have to tell anybody?

CLINIC: No.

CALLER: Okay. If I had any questions could I talk to you later?

CLINIC: Well, you could, but I don’t know that I’d be able to help you. You want to talk to those people I gave you the number for.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Because we don’t do terminations here.

CALLER: All right.

CLINIC: So you’ll want to talk to them, because they could answer your questions.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay. All right. Bye bye.

CALLER: So if I come in nobody has to know?

CLINIC: No.

CALLER: Okay.
