CALLER: Yeah.

CALLER: Okay. Well, do you know — like I’m just really worried because like my friend — well, I’m goign to be 14 in March, and my friend said that they would have to tell my parents. But my boyfriend’s 22. Is he old enough to take care of it and they wouldn’t have to tell anybody?

CLINIC: I’m pretty sure he can. You would hve to call them and ask.

CALLER: Oh, okay.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: Well, could I come in there for a pregnancy test?

A; Yes, you can. Did you want to come in today?

CALLER: Well, yeah, I think so.

CLINIC: Okay. Did you —

CALLER: I mean, he’d be the only way I could get there. Would that be all right if he was there with me?

CLINIC: That’s fine.

CALLER: Oh, okay.

CLINIC: Let me see.

CALLER: It’s just — we were talking about everything, and we don’t want anyone to know about us. If he was paying, would he hvae ato sign anything?

A; No.

CALLER: Really?

CLINIC: You can — do you want to come in at 2:30 today?

CALLER: Yeah, I thikn so. Yaeh.

CLINIC: Okay. What’s your name?

CALLER: It’s Christine.

CLINIC: And your last name?

CALLER: Smith.

CLINIC: Smith?

CALLER: Yeah, SMITH.

CLINIC: Okay. And your phone number?

CALLER: Well, could I give you like my boyfriend’s cellphone number?

A; Yeah, that’s fine.

CALLER: I just, he just got it and I don’t know the number yet. Is it all right if I call you back?

A; Just make sure you have two different phone numbers, becuase you’re going to have to fill something out when you come in so you just need to have two different phone numbers.

CALLER: Well, if it turned out that I wasn’t pregnant, could I get birth control there?

CLINIC: Uh-huh. Everything’s confidential, so we wouldn’t be calling your parents or anything.

CALLER: Oh, okay.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: But would you have to tell anybody about this at all?

CLINIC: No.

CALLER: Okay. Well, if like I was on birth control, would my boyfriend be able to pick up the pills becuase I can’t drive.

A; No. You’d have ato come in and get them yourself.

CALLER: Oh, okay.

A; Okay? What we can do, if the test comes out negative we can start you on birth control today.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: Well, if I think think of anything else could I cll you back? What was your name?

CLINIC: Christina.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: All right. Thanks.

CLINIC: You’re welcome.

CALLER: Bye.

CLINIC: Bye.
