CALLER: Hi. I was wondering if you guys do abortions there?

CLINIC: If we do what? I’m sorry.

CALLER: Abortions?

CLINIC: Bushings?

CALLER: Like an abortion?

CLINIC: Oh! I’m sorry. I didn’t understand. Are you on a cell phone?

CALLER: No.

CLINIC: Oh, okay. I was just wondering why it sounded like a little crackle. Yeah, at the Warminster Office.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: And would you like to give them a call?

CALLER: Yeah. What’s their phone number?

CLINIC: I got it right here. 215-957-7980.

CALLER: 7980?

CLINIC: Correct, and what you’ll need to do is, if you’re closer — do you live close — like at the Bentel Maria (ph)?

CALLER: I live in Phoenixville.

CLINIC: Then you’re closer to — whichever Planned Parenthood you’re closest to you would have to do a compliance visit and then wait. There’s a 24-hour waiting period in the state of Pennsylvania for the procedure.

CALLER: Is it okay if I come there because like I just don’t want anyone to see me.

CLINIC: To, you mean, the Warminster office?

CALLER: Huh? To where you’re at.

CLINIC: You can come to any Planned Parenthood for the counseling.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: And take the pregnancy test. They determine how long you’re pregnant, so on and so forth.

CALLER: Do you know if there’s like an age requirement for being — or having an abortion? Because like I’ll be 14 in March.

CLINIC: No. I think that that’s fine.

CALLER: Okay. And they wouldn’t have to tell my parents or anybody?

CLINIC: No. No.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: It’s completely anonymous.

CALLER: It’s just I can’t tell my parents at all because like, well my boyfriend’s 22 and we’re going to get married and we’re in love, but like my parents hate him because they think he’s too old for me, so.

CLINIC: I see, yeah. No, that should not be a problem at all.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: And, but I would call the Warminster office if you have any questions about the procedure itself.

CALLER: Okay. Well, like do you guys do birth control there?

CLINIC: Yes.

CALLER: And you wouldn’t have to tell anybody about that?

CLINIC: No.

CALLER: All right. Would it be okay if my boyfriend brings me and everything?

CLINIC: Yes.

CALLER: Because he’d be the only way that I could get there, so.

CLINIC: Yes. That’s no problem.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: Is it all right if I call you back? Like I have to ask him a question but —

CLINIC: Well, if you’re coming in for a pregnancy test, you don’t need an appointment.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: You just come in, have the pregnancy test done, and then they’ll, you know, give you the information that you would need if you decide that if you are pregnant and you should decide to do the procedure.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Take it from there.

CALLER: Well, is it all right if I talk to you later? It’s just —

CLINIC: Sure.

CALLER: If I could talk to my mom like I can talk to you it would be — my life would be so much easier. But like what was your name?

CLINIC: Terry.

CALLER: Terry?

CLINIC: Um-hum.

CALLER: All right. Okay, thanks.

CLINIC: You’re welcome.

CALLER: Thanks.

CLINIC: Bye.
