CLINIC: Planned Parenthood. Azerdee (ph) speaking. Can I help you?

CALLER: Yeah. Hi. I was wondering if you guys do abortions there.

CLINIC: No, we don’t.

CALLER: Okay. Well, do you know of anybody that does?

CLINIC: 782-2218.

CALLER: Can I ask you a real quick question? I’m scared because my friend told me that since I’ll be 14 in March that they would have to tell my parents that I’m getting an abortion. But my boyfriend’s 22. Is he old enough to take care of everything, and you guys wouldn’t have to tell anybody?

CLINIC: No. You would have to tell your parents. Your boyfriend has nothing to do with it.

CALLER: Oh. Well, is there any way not to tell my parents?

CLINIC: No.

CALLER: Because I don’t know what would happen. They just can’t find out at all.

CLINIC: You might have to go out of town to get it done then, that way.

CALLER: Well, like where?

CLINIC: To Cleveland or something.

CALLER: Oh.

CLINIC: So call that number and ask them.

CALLER: Okay. Well, could I come in there for a pregnancy test?

CLINIC: Not until Monday. I don’t have any appointments today.

CALLER: Oh, okay. But on Monday I could?

CLINIC: Yeah, Monday. You want to make an appointment?

CALLER: Yeah, I guess.

CLINIC: At 4:00?

CALLER: Well, I’d have to call my boyfriend to see. Is it all right if he comes with me?

CLINIC: Yeah. Call him and let me know.

CALLER: Okay. Well, what was your name?

CLINIC: Dee Dee. I’m the only one up here.

CALLER: All right.

CLINIC: All right, sweetie.
