CALLER: Well, the biggest thing is that my friend told me that you guys have to tell my parents before I can even go through having an abortion. Is that true?

CLINIC: Well, I didn’t understand what you say.

CALLER: Well, do you guys have to tell my parents if I’m having an abortion?

CLINIC: No, they can — you can come, but they say, no, nothing, because everything is confidential here.

CLINIC: No. Only you need to make an appointment to see the doctor that also will refer you to someplace.

CALLER: Well, I just was really wanting to know, like — like the thing is, she also — my friend, she said that you guys have to know about my entire story. The problem is, my parents can’t find out about this because —

CALLER: My boyfriend’s 22. And we’re planning to get married, because we love each other. But my parents absolutely hate him, and they think he’s too old for me. And I’m only — I’ll be 14 in March. I don’t understand what the problem is.

CLINIC: Okay. Will be good idea that you come, make appointment. You want to wait for make appointment?

CALLER: Well, no one will find out about it?

CLINIC: You want to make appointment today or you want to call later for that?

CALLER: Well, yeah. I have to call my boyfriend and see.
