CALLER: Okay. I’ll be 14 in March, and friend told me that since I’ll be 14 in March that you guys have to tell my parents and have them sign some stuff. But my boyfriend’s 22. Could he do that?

CLINIC: No.

CALLER: No?

CLINIC: No. You’ll have to talk to those individual clinics, but no, that’s something that they’ll have to discuss with you, okay?

CALLER: Oh. Well, could I come in there where you’re at to get a pregnancy test?

CLINIC: Uh-huh. We can give you a pregnancy test, and we can give you some referrals.

CALLER: Would you have to tell my parents if I was getting a pregnancy test?

CLINIC: No. I don’t have to tell your parents if you’re getting a test, but anything after that they’ll have to know.

CALLER: So you wouldn’t have to tell anybody about that?

CLINIC: Uh-uh. No, that’s kept completely confidential. You said you’re 14?

CALLER: Yeah.

CLINIC: Yeah.

CALLER: So is it all right if my boyfriend brings me?

CLINIC: Uh-huh.

CALLER: Because I don’t know how else I would get there.

CLINIC: Yeah, he can bring you.

CALLER: If I wasn’t pregnant, do you guys have birth control there?

CLINIC: Uh-huh.

CALLER: Would you have to tell anybody if I was on that?

CALLER: No, I wouldn’t. That’s completely confidential.

CLINIC: My name’s Jennifer.
